Lamb Burgers with Tzatziki Sauce

Juicy Greek lamb burgers with bulgur, aromatic spices, and refreshing yogurt sauce with cucumber and mint. The perfect dish for a summer dinner or picnic.
Ingredients
- 25 g Bulgur
- 500 g Ground lamb
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Coriander
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 clove Garlic
- Olive oil
- 4 pcs Burger bun
- Cucumber
- 200 g Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp Fresh mint
- Tomatoes
- Onion
Instructions
- Pour the bulgur into a pot, add water and bring to a boil. Cook for 10 minutes, then drain through a sieve and squeeze out excess moisture thoroughly.
- Prepare the tzatziki sauce: squeeze the juice from the cucumber and discard it, mix the cucumber flesh with yogurt, add chopped mint and a pinch of salt.
- Add the ground lamb, cumin, coriander, paprika, minced garlic, and salt to taste to the bowl with cooled bulgur. Mix well and form 4 patties. Brush them with olive oil.
- Fry the patties in a skillet or grill for 5 minutes on each side until cooked through. The burger buns can be lightly toasted on the grill or in a skillet.
- Serve the burgers in buns with a layer of tzatziki sauce, tomatoes, thinly sliced onion, and fresh mint leaves.
