Steak with Vietnamese Noodle Salad

Juicy steak paired with a light and refreshing salad of brown rice noodles, fresh vegetables, and an aromatic dressing based on fish sauce. The perfect dish for lovers of Asian cuisine.
Ingredients
- 85 g Brown rice noodles
- 1 tsp Vegetable oil
- 250 g Steak (fillet)
- 2 pcs Carrot
- 0.5 pcs Napa cabbage
- 4 pcs Green onion
- to taste Cilantro
- 1 pcs Red chili
- to taste Lime
- 2 tsp Brown sugar
- 1 tsp Rice vinegar
- 1 clove Garlic
- 0.5 tbsp Fish sauce
Instructions
- Prepare the dressing: mix brown sugar, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and fish sauce in a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of water and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain them in a colander and immediately plunge into ice water to cool quickly. Let the water drain completely.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooled noodles with grated carrot, shredded Napa cabbage, sliced green onion, and the prepared dressing. Gently toss all ingredients together.
- Heat oil in a skillet over high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then cook for 2–3 minutes on each side until medium rare. Remove from the skillet and let rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly.
- Arrange the salad on plates, top with steak slices, and garnish with fresh cilantro and red chili. Serve immediately.
