Spaghetti Bolognese

A classic Italian dish featuring tender pasta and a rich, flavorful meat sauce. The combination of beef, tomatoes, and aromatic spices creates the perfect meal for the whole family.
Ingredients
- 2 pcs onion
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 500 g ground beef
- 90 g mushrooms
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 400 g canned tomatoes
- 300 ml hot beef broth
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 350 g spaghetti
- to taste Parmesan
Instructions
- Finely chop the onion and sauté it in a large skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat for 3–4 minutes until softened. Add the crushed garlic and ground beef, cooking until the meat is browned, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks. Then add the sliced mushrooms and oregano, and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Add the tomatoes, hot broth, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover with a lid, and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes.
- While the sauce is cooking, boil the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to the package instructions. Drain in a colander, rinse with hot water, and transfer to a skillet. Toss well with the meat sauce.
- Transfer the spaghetti Bolognese to hot bowls and serve, offering grated Parmesan for guests to sprinkle on top.
