Puff Pastry Tartlets with Berries and Cream Cheese

Crispy puff pastry tartlets with a delicate filling of cream cheese and fresh summer berries — the perfect breakfast or light dessert.
Ingredients
- 35 g Cream cheese
- 295 g Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 pcs Puff pastry
- Flour
- Strawberries
- Raspberries
- Blackberries
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C. Prepare two baking sheets by lining them with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and uniform.
- Lightly dust the work surface with flour and unfold the puff pastry sheets. Cut each sheet into 9 equal squares. On each square, make L-shaped cuts in the top right and bottom left corners, about 1 cm from the edge. The cuts should reach the edge of the square but not connect at the corners — the result should be a frame shape with two intact corners.
- Fold the top right corner down to the inner bottom corner to create a diamond shape.
- Place 1–2 teaspoons of the cream cheese and sugar filling in the center of the tartlet and arrange the berries on top.
- Repeat with all remaining pastry squares and arrange the tartlets on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown and the pastry is puffed.
- Serve the tartlets while still warm and enjoy!
