Beef Satay

A classic Asian dish — meat skewers with an aromatic marinade made from soy sauce, lemon, and coriander. Quick to prepare and incredibly juicy and flavorful.
Ingredients
- 1800 g Beef tenderloin
- 1 pcs Onion
- 2 clove Garlic
- 2 pcs Lemon
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 240 ml Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Ground coriander
- 480 ml Vegetable oil
- 240 ml Vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
Instructions
- Prepare the marinade: place roughly chopped onion, garlic, juice of two lemons, sugar, 240 ml of soy sauce, salt, ground coriander, and 480 ml of oil in a blender. Mix thoroughly until smooth.
- Cut the beef into cubes and place in the marinade. Leave for several hours (not overnight!) to allow the meat to absorb the flavors.
- Prepare a dipping mixture: combine 240 ml of vegetable oil with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce.
- Thread the marinated meat onto wooden or metal skewers. Coat each skewer with the oil and soy sauce mixture on all sides to prevent the meat from drying during cooking.
- Grill the satay or cook on a very hot pan for 3–4 minutes on each side until a golden crust forms.
