Chicken Wings with Cumin, Lemon, and Garlic

Aromatic Turkish-style chicken wings with fragrant cumin, fresh lemon, and garlic. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside — the perfect dish for a festive table or a cozy dinner.
Ingredients
- 12 pcs Chicken wings
- 2 clove Garlic
- 1 pcs Lemon
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbsp Honey
Instructions
- Using a sharp kitchen knife, cut each wing at the joint into two pieces. Finely chop the garlic. Squeeze the lemon juice and zest the rind. In a bowl, combine the garlic, lemon juice, zest, cumin seeds, and olive oil. Season generously with salt and pepper. Place the chicken wings in a dish and toss well, ensuring each wing is thoroughly coated with the marinade. Cover with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C. Arrange the marinated wings on a baking sheet in a single layer and transfer to the oven.
- Bake the wings for 35–40 minutes until they turn golden and crispy. In the last 10 minutes, generously drizzle with honey to allow them to caramelize.
- Transfer the cooked wings to a serving platter. Serve with a stack of napkins. Offer small bowls of olives, pistachios or almonds, dates, pickled hot peppers, and flatbread on the side.
