Garlic Shrimp in Sherry

Garlic Shrimp in Sherry

A Spanish classic — tender shrimp sautéed in olive oil with fragrant garlic and generously drizzled with dry sherry. This dish comes together in minutes and pairs beautifully with wine.

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add thinly sliced garlic and sauté for 10–15 seconds until fragrant — being careful not to let it burn.
  2. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring, until they begin to turn pink.
  3. Pour the sherry directly into the skillet and continue cooking for another 2–3 minutes until the shrimp are fully cooked and firm. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
