Pear with Peaches and Blueberries

A delicate American dessert featuring caramelized peaches and blueberries, topped with crispy cinnamon rolls. Perfect for a family dinner on a warm evening.
Ingredients
- 6 pcs Peaches
- 250 g Blueberries
- 2 pcs Orange
- 1 tsp Cornstarch
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar
- 200 g Self-rising flour
- 50 g Butter
- 100 g Muscovado sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 6 tbsp Milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 190°C. Butter a wide, shallow baking dish. In a saucepan, mix the cornstarch with the orange zest and juice. Add the brown sugar. Cut the peaches in half, remove the pits, and slice them. Add the peaches to the saucepan and bring slowly to a boil, stirring gently, until the sauce becomes glossy and thickens, approximately 3–4 minutes. Remove from heat, add the blueberries, and pour everything into the prepared baking dish.
- Pour the flour into a bowl and add 50 g of butter. Rub the butter into the flour with your fingertips until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Add half of the sugar. Mix the remaining sugar with cinnamon and set aside.
- Pour the milk into the dry ingredients and knead until you have a soft dough. Turn it out onto a lightly floured surface and knead quickly. Roll into a rectangle approximately 16 × 24 cm. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle evenly with the spiced sugar mixture. Roll up the dough from one long side and cut into 12 slices. Arrange the slices around the edges of the baking dish, leaving the center uncovered.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until the top is crispy and golden. Serve warm.
