Smoky Turkish Chicken Skewers

Juicy chicken thighs marinated in aromatic spices and garlic, then quickly seared in a pan until crispy. Served with smoky aioli — the perfect dish for lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
- 6 pcs Chicken thighs
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Fennel seeds
- 1 tsp Ground cumin
- 1 tsp Sweet smoked paprika
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 tsp Red wine vinegar
- Smoky aioli
Instructions
- Prepare 15 wooden skewers — soak them in water for 10 minutes. Cut the chicken thighs into pieces approximately 3 cm in size and place in a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil, fennel seeds, cumin, paprika, crushed garlic, and vinegar. Mix well, season with salt and pepper to taste. You can marinate in the refrigerator for several hours or even overnight.
- Thread 2–3 pieces of chicken onto each skewer. Heat a skillet or grill over medium heat, brushing it with the remaining olive oil.
- Sear the skewers for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Cook in batches if they don't fit on the skillet all at once. Keep the cooked skewers in a warm place.
- Serve the hot chicken skewers with smoky aioli.
