Grape Nut Ice Cream

Delicate Jamaican ice cream with crunchy Grape Nut cereal and vanilla. Made without eggs—simply whipped cream combined with sweetened condensed milk and frozen in the freezer.
Ingredients
- 480 ml Heavy cream
- 35 g Sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 240 ml Grape Nut cereal
Instructions
- Pour cold cream into a large bowl. Using an electric mixer, whip until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth and uniform.
- Add the Grape Nut cereal and carefully fold it into the mixture until evenly distributed throughout.
- Transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container (a loaf pan or plastic container). Cover the surface with plastic wrap to prevent ice crystals from forming, then close the lid. Freeze for at least 6 hours or until completely frozen.
- Before serving, remove the ice cream from the freezer and let it sit for a few minutes at room temperature to soften slightly. Scoop into serving dishes and serve.
